If you've been waiting for the perfect opportunity to join one of the most respected (and definitely the most caffeinated) gunsmith shops in Kent, WA, today is your day. C.A.R. Firearms is officially hiring, and we’re looking for a skilled Manual Machinist who’s ready to jump into the world of precision gunsmithing, custom firearm machining, and high-end barrel threading like an absolute pro.
And before you ask — yes, this is a real job. Yes, you get to work with actual firearms. And yes, you get paid to do it.
In fact, we’re offering $25–$35 per hour, depending on experience… because high-quality machining deserves high-quality pay.
At C.A.R. Firearms, we take pride in being the go-to gunsmith near me for firearm owners across Kent and the greater Seattle area. Our reputation for quality gunsmithing, custom firearm work, precision machining, gun repair, and barrel threading has earned us a loyal customer base — and that means our shop is growing fast.
Now, we’re expanding our team with a new position designed for someone who knows their way around:
Manual lathes
Milling machines
Barrel threading tools
Firearm components
Precision machining processes
Custom fabrication
And ideally… a good sense of humor, because our team runs on equal parts machining oil and sarcasm
